What is DiscoverMyStay?

DiscoverMyStay is a vacation rental booking platform connecting travelers with property owners for unique stays. We facilitate inquiries between guests and property owners but do not own or manage the properties listed.

You can create an account by clicking on the “Register” button on our homepage. Fill in the required details, and you’ll receive a confirmation email to activate your account.

We offer a wide range of properties, including vacation homes, apartments, cabins, and luxury villas. Each listing provides detailed information about the property, amenities, and location.

To maximize the odds of receiving a booking request, property owners need to put in a bit of effort. Here are some tips:

  1. Display the maximum number of images that you can.
  2. Make sure the images are the most recent ones.
  3. If possible, update images to reflect different seasons, showcasing your property year-round.
  4. Write a brief, descriptive summary of your property to highlight its unique features.
  5. Regularly update your availability calendar and rates to reflect the most recent status.
  6. Provide accurate location details and information on local attractions.
  7. Encourage guests to leave reviews after their stay, as positive reviews can help attract future bookings.

Booking FAQ's

Is there a minimum stay requirement?

Minimum stay requirements may apply, especially during peak periods. Please refer to the specific listing for details.

Depending on the home’s availability, you might be able to change your booking dates. If your desired dates are not available, or the host is unable to accommodate a date change, your original booking dates will remain.

If you test positive for COVID-19 before your trip or need to self-isolate, we will help you amend your travel dates where possible. This is subject to home availability and host discretion.

Payment & Fees FAQ's

What is the security deposit, and when will it be refunded?

A refundable security deposit may be required for some bookings. The deposit will be refunded within 7 days of checkout if no damage or violations occur. Please refer to the specific listing for details.

Check-In/Out FAQ's

Can I request an early check-in or late check-out?

Early check-in and late check-out requests are subject to availability and may incur additional fees. Early check-in is $25, and late check-out is $30 per half hour.

Check-in instructions and the house manual will be provided to you on the day of your check-in, typically via email or through the DiscoverMyStay platform.

Issues During Stay FAQ's

What if something goes wrong during my stay?

If you encounter any issues during your stay, contact the property owner/manager immediately. For additional assistance, you can reach out to DiscoverMyStay’s support team at support@virtual24by7.com

If a property becomes unavailable due to reasons beyond our control, such as natural disasters or government orders, DiscoverMyStay is not liable to provide refunds or compensation. We recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance.
